Packing guide
- Wait for approval. Only ship after you get the approval email with your submission ID.
- Sorted or unsorted. If you listed sorted categories, keep each category together with a note or divider. Unsorted bulk can go in loose — just keep it in one stack.
- No rubber bands. They dent cards. Use card boxes, or stack cards tightly and wrap with paper.
- Fill the gaps. Use paper or bubble wrap so nothing slides. Cards shifting in transit is the #1 cause of damage.
- Note inside. Write your submission ID and email on any piece of paper and put it on top of your cards. No printer needed. (If you have one, you can print the packing slip from your status page instead.)
- ID on the outside. Write your submission ID on the box near the address.
- Tape every seam. Heavy boxes split. Tape all edges.
- Ship with tracking. USPS Ground Advantage is usually cheapest. Add the tracking number on your status page. Keep your receipt.
Roughly: 1,000 cards weigh about 4 lbs. A 12×9×6 box fits around 2,000–3,000 cards.
